Borealis
Borealis is a small narrative game where your objective is to help people in the forest. Gather resources and build shelters that you can later decorate.
This game was created for the Secret Santa Jam 2024, for Riikka-Lotta. Merry Christmas! 🎄
Gather Resources🌲🪓
The game is not fully finished—there is no official ending yet, and I would have liked to add a survival aspect where you must manage the cold, but I ran out of time to code that part.
I’m happy to have added a bit of story and dialogue to one of my games. It’s quite rare for me to do so, and I’m really pleased with the result. It’s also one of my first fully 3D games, and I’m satisfied with how it turned out.
Build shelters🏠🔨
The game should be played with keyboard and mouse :
- WASD: Movement
- ctrl / Shift: Run
- Right Click: Undo / Grab a log (hold)
- Left Click: Continue / Chop a tree / Build / Talk / Sleep
- Scroll Wheel : Rotate construction
The web version may have some control issues, especially when sprinting and right-clicking. Sorry about that.
